Dhannoo Peck BudwahMy beloved grandfather Dhannoo Peck Budwah passed away March 12, 2019 in Brampton, Canada. He was an English and Latin teacher in Port Mourant Corentyne Guyana. He used to teach at Corentyne Comprehensive before him and his family moved to Canada. He was married to Sumintra Budwah also known as “Leela” from Mahaicony Creek. They had 5 children, Suzanne Budwah, Paul Budwah, Paula Budwah, Romeo Budwah and Karen Budwah. They had 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. My grandpa was friends with Julius Nathoo in Guyana and Latchana and many more. He used to play cricket with them and was nicknamed a crèche boy. He had a very good “chinaman” ball all of the players used to talk about.

Please contact Rishi Singh for my email address. If you were a friend of my grandfather I would like to hear from you.

My name is Carrissa Budwah and I am the fifth grandchild of Dhannoo Peck Budwah. He recently passed away on March 12, 2019 at 7:22pm. I heard great stories of my grandfather Dhannoo Peck Budwah in Port Mourant Guyana and that he used to play cricket. I never knew how great my grandfather was and how much of an idol he was to Guyana. I miss him dearly, I was with him in the hospital until his last breath. I’m the daughter of his first son (his second child) Paul Budwah. We live in Brampton, Canada where Dhannoo Peck Budwah passed away in the hospital from a cardiac problem with his heart and also a kidney problem. He was 80 years old and lived a long beautiful life with us here on earth. He had 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Please can someone share any beautiful story that they have of my grandfather? I miss him so much and our family loves him for a lifetime. Please can anyone share a story with me?
