It is with deep sadness and loss that we report the passing of Gerald Rajendra Ramsaran of Queen’s, New York. Gerry tragically died in an accident on the Northern State Parkway last Saturday night. He was 49 years old. Gerry was the son of Ashook and Camille Ramsarran. Ashook is an illustrious grad of the Class of 1964.
In his email Ashook informed us that: “Gerry’s passing was untimely and his life short. He loved people (everyone) and everyone loved him. We will always cherish the memories we shared. We take some comfort in the life that he lived, his two wonderful sons Jaden and Gavin, his wife Rachel, and the family and friends whose lives he touched in wonderful ways. Good memories will always transcend time and place.”
Rachel’s parents were both grads and teachers of CHS and I was privileged to be taught by both of them in Form 3.
On behalf of the all our grads, I extend our deepest sympathy to Gerry’s family and may God in his infinite mercy and compassion comfort the hearts of the Ramsaran family and their loved ones.
