Rishi visited Florida last weekend and met with grads in Tampa, Coral Springs, Fort Lauderdale, Plantation, and West Palm Beach.  He was a no-show in Orlando where he was supposed to meet with Winston Seepersaud, Jerry Chetram, Lloyd Lochan, and our oldest living grad Mr. Chetram (Jerry’s father).

Here are some updates arising from those meetings:

VENUE:  Our 2020 Reunion will be held on the 10-acre estate of one of our grads in Clermont.  It will be an outdoor event but if the weather is inclement it will be moved indoors.  We will disclose the address a little later.

DATE: The reunion will be on Saturday, June 6, 2020 from 5:00pm to as long as we want.

MOONLIGHT & ROSES: Reunion Night will be a full moon night so we are calling the event our “Moonlight & Roses Reunion.”  The stars out in the sky that night will be a constant reminder of our inspiring motto: per ardua ad astra.

DRESS CODE:  There is no dress code.  Just dress casually or as you please.

ATTENDEE LIST: If you plan on attending please contact me or any of our Executives and get your name on the Attendee List.  I will post the names of some of the Executives you can contact.

IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND:     If your name is on the Attendee List but later you realize that you cannot attend, please let us know so that someone else can have your place.

GUESTS:  You are allowed to bring your spouse, children, or a good friend or sweetheart

HOTELS: We will post a list of nearby hotels in the coming days.

NEAREST AIRPORT: Orlando International Airport

FOOD & DRINK:  Mostly Guyanese food will be available.  This will include mutton, goat, chicken curries.  Rice, daal puri, and vegetarian dish.  Wine, beer, soda, water, fresh cane juice.  We will also be doing BBQ throughout the evening.  Guyanese desserts will also be available.

IT’S A FREE EVENT:  Please remember that tickets are not being sold for this Reunion because it is a free event.  But everyone we have spoken to insists that we should have a Donation Box because grads will want to make donations.  So we have caved in and will make a Donations Box available.

We will do all we can to make this a very memorable reunion (just like all our previous ones).  Please do all you can to attend !!
