Mr. Ally passed away a few days ago at his home in Maryland, surrounded by his family. He was 84. Mr. Ally was once the Chairman of the Hampshire – Chesney – Kilcoy Local Authority. He was responsible for the construction of the Albion Sports Complex (formerly “Complex Mustapha”) back in the early 1970’s. Mr. Ally was an enterprising contractor and businessman. He was the second rice miller on the Corentyne to set up a multi-stage rice milling facility next to this house along the Albion Estate road. Dr. Fraser of East Lothian was the the first.
